I've been taking a look at some of the other projects' wikis, namely LNA, and I was suddenly hit with a revelation that was right in front of my eyes the entire time.

LNA and most other fan-made projects have been trying to launch a game with a boatload of features out of the gate. That's great, except when the few developers that we have dabble in and out of certain tasks, getting each item barely started. Then, we'll rethink everything because it's not getting done fast enough, and all that work goes to waste. I, at least, have seen that happen over and over again.

Now, I'm not back here trying to tell you guys what to do; I'm just sharing a thought. What am I trying to say with all of this rambling? Simply, keep it simple. Don't worry about building systems or character customization yet. If we don't get a core system down, customizing your character would be useless.

Maybe you guys already are doing this, I have no idea. I haven't been keeping up with the wiki. In any case, I hope you guys continue even through the launch of Funcom's game. Heck, I'd rather play our 3D LU-remake than their new top-down game. With that, I'll stop my random talk and let you guys get back to business. Good luck. ;)
